Running before I can walk???

Crochet time again... I felt I needed to make something epic this time around. A few weeks into my crochet learning journey and what do I decide? I KNOW, I'LL MAKE A BAG!

.... it can't be that difficult can it?

Well, yes it can! No pattern, just busking it. A few mistakes and not so square as I would like, but I am trying to convince myself that all this makes it unique.

Next project: crochet Y fronts for my husband...

Today saw me atttempt some more crochet. Thanks to one of my favourite blogs http://sarahndipities.blogspot.com/ I attempted a heart garland.

In fact, it was the first thing I have actually made in full.

Not overly even, but it put a smile on my face :)

Somewhere over the rainbow...

In the past 24 hours we have had drizzle, heavy rain, sunshine, cold blue skies and snow ... had to snap this view from our back window yesterday afternoon...

... Sadly, there was no pot of gold ...
