Who's The Daddy?!
For my husband's first Father's Day, I wanted to create a personalised card featuring our little boy.
I thought it would be easy...
I thought it would be easy...
Who said never to work with children and animals?!
What should have taken a few seconds took twenty minutes! I lay our baby boy into his cot and handed him a printed greeting.
I snapped away, hoping to get a decent image...
I soon needed to print another greeting as the original one became very creased and soggy!
We were nearly there...
Eventually, after a few tweaks at picmonkey.com, I came up with this image ready for printing to the card....

Throwback Thursday Week 2
It's that time again...
Throwback Thursday; throughout the month of June, I'm looking back at some of my Summertime projects.
With the World Cup starting this week and the Fourth of July and the Commonwealth Games all in the forthcoming weeks, I've chosen this patriotic project from my archives

Peaky Blinder
The 'Peaky Blinder' style has recently appeared on the high street and why should my little one miss out?
Back in 2013, the BBC brought us 'Peaky Blinders', a drama series set in Birmingham just after WWI. It was based on the historic gang who sewed razor blades in the peak of their caps.I purchased this Scally Cap pattern from Etsy and making the most of the nice weather (and our little one fast asleep in the shade), I sat in the sun and crocheted away.
I used a brown DK yarn and a 4mm crochet hook.
Our little one seemed to enjoy modelling his new cap, though I am not sure how long it will stay on his head!
