Tiddly Om Pom Pom

The snowfall left me itching to crochet a new hat.
I found this ear flap hat pattern on Ravelry - courtest of Knittwittz
It didn't take long to make up as I used chunky wool and a 5mm hook. I added a pom-pom to my attempt - haven't made one since I was a kid!
Wool plait tassels added the finishing touch

Look how cute you are! I just love that you can make something out of a ball of yarn.. always so impressive, especially since I just can't make my hands do it!

Absolutely love this hat. My grandma spent years trying to persuade me to learn to crochet and I never wanted to, but now really wish I had learned.
