This is my first Christmas make of 2014...
This mistletoe pattern is by
Marina Hoffstrom and it's very well written. You can purchase it in her Etsy shop.
I used Sirdar Cotton DK yarn and a 3mm hook. Instead of using pearls, I chose to use some pearl buttons.
A red ribbon bow finished it off and it's now ready to be hung over my doorway! xx

This is so pretty looking and interesting. You did a great job making the milseltoe!
Thanks Julie and thanks for dropping by!
Dropping by from Clare's link party - I've been pinning a bunch of mistletoe ideas lately, but your version makes me wish I could crochet. I especially like the addition of the buttons.
Love your mistletoe!!
What a lovely idea, it looks great and will make a lovely decoration.
Aww this is gorgeous! If i knew anything about how to crochet i would definitely have a go! x
This looks great and I particularly prefer your use of buttons to the original pearl beads. The colour you used is spot on

Oooo... COOL!
And I've got lots of those Buttons, too...

Thanks Louisa
great! It's a really easy pattern to follow.
I'm going to make some more - for all over the house
Oh that's so pretty - I love the idea of using pearly buttons, a perfect way to use all the odd buttons that lurk at the bottom of the button jar!
I love this mistletoe...so very cute and clever! Thanks for sharing! PINNED!
This is just beautiful!
Thanks for linking up x

Oh I love this! Seeing as we are a kitty household and mistletoe is poisonous to them, I love the idea of the crocheted varietal. :) Thank you so much for linking up at Snickerdoodle Sunday- hope you'll come by again later this week!
Sarah (Sadie Seasongoods)
Love it! I must pin it for 'later'! :)
