Beach Boy

During our stay in Cornwall last week, my husband faced his fears and went into the sea! David only ever paddles, so for him to go Body Boarding took a lot of courage!

The wetsuit was on ... he smiled ... then started to get a little nervous...
I followed him down to the beach to laugh take some photographs. From a distance I could see he had made it into the water, just.
Time to face his fears and get in above the knees!
I could only imagine how cold the water was as I sat on the rocks, wrapped up warm, enjoying the view
David well and truly faced his fears and made me very proud
I think he was proud of himself too!

Well done David! Those waves looked a little large for your first attempt! Very brave of you. Will this become a regular past time now? I love the photo of you not looking very sure!

He did very well and is talking about trying it again!

It was a very scary first experience, luckily I had my good friend Andrew with me to show me the ropes. Time to price up my own wetsuit and body board me thinks!

Plus I have been promised a spot to keep my gear whilst back home!

Can't wait to get back down there and out on the waves!

Loving this! Yes, I would be sitting with you and just cheering from the beach:) I am not a strong swimmer (of course not much water in the Southwest (USA) where I live, lol) I bet it was loads of fun for him. And by the way your David is a cutie:)
Thanks for sharing at Freedom Fridays.

Cute post. I found this through Creative Mondays on Judy H-J's Thoughts. I have linked in a post about some retro prawn cocktails I did.
